🏭 Sale MRP BOM

📖 Overview

Sale MRP BOM allows you to choose a specific Bill of Materials (BoM) directly from a Sales Order line.

This is useful when a product has multiple Bills of Materials, such as different manufacturing methods, subcontracting options, or alternative component lists. Instead of always using the default BoM, you can select the most appropriate one while creating the Sales Order.

When the Sales Order is confirmed, the selected BoM is automatically used to create the Manufacturing Order.

⚙️ Installation

1. Copy the sale_mrp_bom module into your Odoo addons directory.
2. Update the Apps List.

Apps → Update Apps List

1. Search for Sale MRP BOM.
2. Click Install.

📖 Usage

🛒 Create a Sales Order

📍 Menu Navigation

Sales → Orders → Quotations

Steps

1. Click Create.
2. Select a customer.
3. Add a product that has multiple Bills of Materials.
4. Choose the required BoM on the Sales Order line.
5. Save the quotation.

✅ Confirm the Sales Order

Steps

1. Click Confirm.
2. If the product follows the Manufacturing route, Odoo creates a Manufacturing Order.
3. The Manufacturing Order automatically uses the selected Bill of Materials.

🏭 Review the Manufacturing Order

📍 Menu Navigation

Manufacturing → Operations → Manufacturing Orders

Steps

1. Open the generated Manufacturing Order.
2. Verify that the selected BoM is being used.
3. Continue the manufacturing process as usual.
