📖 Overview

AI Bridge provides a flexible way to connect Odoo with external AI platforms such as n8n, OpenAI, Ollama, or any REST API.

Instead of embedding AI models directly inside Odoo, the module securely sends business data to an external AI service and receives the processed response back in Odoo. This architecture allows businesses to integrate different AI providers while keeping Odoo lightweight and scalable.

The module supports both real-time and background AI processing, making it suitable for a wide range of business automation scenarios.

Steps

1. Click Create.
2. Enter the Bridge Name.
3. Select the target Odoo Model.
4. Configure the API Endpoint.
5. Add authentication if required.
6. Save the bridge.

🔗 Connect an AI Platform

Configure your preferred AI platform (such as OpenAI, Ollama, or n8n) to receive requests from Odoo.

The bridge sends:

• Database information
• Record information
• Business data
• Callback URL

The external AI service processes the request and returns the response to Odoo.

⚡ Select Processing Mode

Depending on your business requirements, choose:
